There’s a change at the top of Fuse Media’s ad sales team.
The company has promoted Fernando Romero to head of advertising sales. He replaces Jason Miller, who is exiting this week after 14 years at the company.
Romero will oversee sales, sponsorship and operations across all of Fuse’s platforms, such as linear and VOD channels Fuse and FM, as well as Fuse.TV. He’ll also lead the event marketing division, Fuse Collab.
“Fernando has been a vital part of our sales leadership team since joining the company last year, displaying a strong understanding of the quickly evolving media world—both on a macro level, as well as in regards to our brand partners and the young, multicultural audiences they are working with us to reach,” said Fuse Media CEO Miguel Roggero in a statement.
Romero started at Fuse Media in July 2018 as vice president of digital sales. He previously was head of global partnerships at digital publishing platform Issuu, led sales and sales marketing for NBCUniversal’s DailyCandy and was vice president of digital ad sales at Rainbow Media Networks (which included AMC, We TV and Fuse).

Miller had been ad sales chief at Fuse Media since 2014, and joined Fuse in 2005.
