  • Here Are the Brands and Organizations Finalists for the 12th Annual Shorty Awards

The brands and organizations finalists were revealed for the 12th Annual Shorty Awards, which will be handed out virtually (due to the coronavirus pandemic) Sunday, May 3.

A total of 10 new categories were added this year: Fitness, Health and Medical, Health and Wellness, Instagram Live, LinkedIn, LinkedIn Video, Pharma and Healthcare, Podcast, Sports and Fitness, TikTok and TikTok Presence.

The most-entered category for the second consecutive year was Social Good Campaign, with a majority of branded campaigns in the category focused on social activism.

Instagram remained the most popular platform being used by brands that submitted entries, as it has been for several years.

Shorty Awards co-founder and Muck Rack CEO Gregory Galant said, “We are looking forward to bringing brands and influencers together with a new all-digital format this year. The host and presenters will be participating virtually from their homes. We’ve always celebrated connecting people using digital tools and, now, we’re doing it ourselves. This will be the first award show of its kind, and we are excited about what we have created for our audience.”
