Did you know that Instagram allows users with business accounts to set a minimum age for their content? This means that users need to be a certain age before being able to view their posts. While you can set a default minimum age that applies to everyone around the world, you can also set different minimum ages for different countries. Our guide will show you how this works.
Note: These screenshots were captured in the Instagram application on iOS.
Step 1: On your profile, tap the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Tap “Settings.”
Step 3: Tap “Business.”
Step 4: Tap “Minimum Age.”
Step 5: Tap “Add” to the right of “By Country.”
Step 6: Tap the country you wish to set a minimum age for.
Step 7: Type the age you want to set.
Step 8: If you want to set a minimum age for another country, tap “Add” to the right of “By Country” to repeat this process. Or, if you’re done entering ages, tap “Done” in the top-right corner of the screen.
